Temazcal: A Powerful Healer
The heart of our project is the ancient Temazcal, a traditional steam bath. This ancient ritual purifies, detoxifies and strengthens the spirit, mind and body, it is an integral job for the human being. The physical, mental and spiritual benefits of Temazcal are innumerable, and have been a fundamental piece in the creation of our workshops over the last 5 years.

Building Strong Bonds
At Proyecto Temazcal, we believe in the importance of building bonds of trust and familiarity through holistic therapies in group and in individual sessions. We work hand by hand with multiple actors from the community, the student center and the surrounding population to strengthen family, social and student communication. Additionally, we focus on social development and emotional management, offering therapeutic resources and urban and rural regional adaptation to prevent physical, psychological, sexual and gender violence, as well as teenage pregnancies. Our mission is to reduce vulnerabilities and threats in the most vulnerable populations without access to complete and comprehensive information.

ACADEMIC ARTIST TRAINING
Fostering Artistic Talent
At Proyecto Temazcal, we believe in the power of art as a means of expression and personal development. Our annual art workshops are designed to develop skills in different artistic areas. In addition, we delve into the areas of greatest interest both as a group and individually. We provide a comfortable environment equipped with the necessary learning materials, as well as basic services to ensure the comfort and confidence of each attendee.
Experts in Social Work with Minors
We carefully select our instructors, prioritizing previous experience in social work with minors in the social field. We closely monitor each annual program on a scheduled basis, adjusting it according to the general academic interests of the project beneficiaries.

WORKSHOPS
Development and Growth Through Creativity
Our workshops are the essence of Proyecto Temazcal. We offer two weekly sessions each month, making sure to respect holidays and school breaks. Initially, we use the facilities of the educational units that allow and authorize us, but we have the vision of expanding and having our own facilities in the future. This expansion will allow us to reach more young people and provide them with an enriching experience.
Evaluate to Improve
The quality of our workshops is of utmost importance. We conduct semiannual evaluations for both our instructors and participants. This helps us measure academic progress and adjust our programs to meet the needs of each group.

PREVENTION OF VIOLENCE AND TEENAGE PREGNANCY:
Education and Prevention
At Proyecto Temazcal, we are committed to preventing violence and teenage pregnancies. We offer monthly talks for young adolescents, both men and women, in the educational units where we work. Our talks are conducted by trained professionals and supervised by the project board. We continue to support long-standing participants to ensure lasting impact.
